旱季
降水较集中的湿润多雨季节。常发生在热带地区，往往与干季周期性交替出现。在降水分配不均匀的其他地区，也有将相对多雨的季节划分为雨季的；如中国通常将4、5月划为华南和南岭山区的雨季，5、6月间为江南雨季，6、7月间为江淮地区的梅雨季节，7月间为黄淮和华北雨季，8月为东北雨季等。
