洋坑埠头依源建村，沿岸居家，村形绵长，共有5座石桥，连接着两岸人家。

《街头巷尾》悠长深邃的青石巷，整齐坚实的河埠头，一种凝重的商贾文化内涵，显示着它曾经拥有的辉煌。

因为埠头的存在，当年这里汇聚十里八乡，小小一个村占全了几乎所有的配套机构，邮局、商行、学校等等。
