①也作牛斗”。二十八宿中的斗宿和牛宿月出于东山之上,徘徊于斗牛之间|气冲斗牛,声震天地|龙光射牛斗之墟。②(dòu-)体育竞技活动。古埃及为表演者把牛激怒后将牛压倒在地。古代西班牙则为人与牛斗并将其杀死,现为斗牛士在助手帮助下,利用灵活的动作,对牛边挑逗边把镖投入其颈胛间,直至最后用剑把牛杀死。在中国,部分地区有两牛交角搏斗的游戏。
