当时就选了雕塑系

I chose the Department of Sculpture

考了（央美）研究生

Passed the postgraduate exam

dàn shì dú le bàn nián jiù tuì xué le

但是读了半年就退学了

But dropped out after half a year

gèng xiǎng zuò zì jǐ de shì le

更想做自己的事了

I want to do my own thing more

直接一个9米6的大货车运了一货车回来

A 9-meter-six large truck transported a truck back

法国的跳蚤市场淘的贵族的小雕塑

Small sculptures of nobles found at a French flea market

bù tóng dì fāng de dōng xī jù jí dào yān cōng shàng

不同地方的东西聚集到烟囱上

Things from different places gathered on the chimney

jiàn lì yī gè xīn de xiàng wèi lái de jí shì

建立一个新的像未来的“集市”

Build a new "market" like the future

hěn yuán shǐ de dǎ kǒng qì

很原始的打孔器

Very primitive hole punch

和一个电机结合

To "Balance Bird"

qí shí hái shì yòng cái liào jiàn lì le yī gè píng héng de sān jiǎo guān xì

其实还是用材料建立了一个平衡的三角关系

In fact, a balanced triangular relationship is established with materials

píng héng zài yī gè kě néng sān háo mǐ zuǒ yòu de niǎo zuǐ de diǎn shàng

平衡在一个可能三毫米左右的鸟嘴的点上

Balance on a point of the beak that may be about three millimeters

现在大家都讲究垃圾分类什么的

Now everyone pays attention to garbage sorting

现在（搜集）很多材料，其实途径也挺多的

Now (collecting) a lot of materials, there are actually many ways

bǐ rú qù dà liǔ shù de guǐ shì

比如去大柳树的鬼市

Like going to the ghost market in Daliushu

huò zhě yǐ qián běi jīng yǒu hěn duō de èr shǒu huò shì chǎng

或者以前北京有很多的二手货市场

Or there were a lot of second-hand goods markets in Beijing before

gōng zuò shì fù jìn de nà xiē huí shōu zhàn

工作室附近的那些回收站

Those recycling bins near the studio

wǒ lái gōng zuò shì kě néng jiù hěn hāi

我来工作室可能就很嗨

I might be very happy when I came to the studio

xiàng yī gè dǎ le jī xuè de gōng rén yī yàng

像一个打了鸡血的工人一样

Like a wicked worker

yào zuò gè zhǒng de gǎi zào

要做各种的改造

Do all kinds of transformations

zuò pǐn tā jiù xiàng yī gè róng qì yī yàng

作品它就像一个容器一样

Works like a container

wú fēi shì bǎ wǒ men shēn biān de tǐ yàn

无非是把我们身边的体验

Is nothing more than taking the experience around us

hé nǐ duì yù dào de zhè xiē rén shì de yī gè rèn zhī

和你对遇到的这些人、事的一个认知

And your knowledge of the people and things you met

gěi tā shōu nà qǐ lái

给它收纳起来
