I'm terrified when I see it myself

我一直都自以为我的体质可以

I always thought that my physique was OK

fēn biàn bù shì hé de fáng zi

分辨不适合的房子

Identify unsuitable houses

yīn wèi kàn fáng zi de shí hòu

因为看房子的时候

Because when looking at the house

wǒ huì yǒu yī zhǒng yī jìn qù jiù jué dé bù shū fú

我会有一种一进去就觉得不舒服

I will feel uncomfortable as soon as I enter

huò bù shùn yǎn de zhuàng kuàng

或不顺眼的状况

Or unpleasant condition

ér qiě wǒ pǒ xiāng xìn fēng shuǐ gé jú

而且我颇相信风水格局

And I quite believe in Feng Shui pattern

suǒ yǐ jí biàn shì zū wū

所以即便是租屋

So even if it’s renting

wǒ yě shì huì hěn zài yì fēng shuǐ

我也是会很在意风水

I also care about Feng Shui

wǒ nán yǒu hěn lǎn

我男友很懒

My boyfriend is lazy

所以综合以上几点

但是我没想到

But i didn't expect

zhè yī cì wǒ què hǎo shì guǐ zhē yǎn yī bān

这一次我却好似鬼遮眼一般

This time I look like a ghost covering my eyes

租了一间疑似是鬼屋的公寓

Rented an apartment suspected of being a haunted house

事后回想起来

In retrospect

nà jiān fáng zi de gé jú qí shí zhēn de hěn qí guài

那间房子的格局其实真的很奇怪

The layout of that house is actually really strange

fáng zi shì sān fáng liǎng tīng liǎng wèi

房子是三房两厅两卫

The house is three bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms

wèi yù fēn bié zài zhǔ wò shì gēn kè tīng

卫浴分别在主卧室跟客厅

The bathroom is in the master bedroom and the living room

liǎng jiān wèi yù kōng jiān dōu fēi cháng xiǎo ér qiě shì xiāng lín de

两间卫浴空间都非常小，而且是相邻的

The two bathrooms are very small and they are adjacent

ràng rén lián xiǎng dào shì bù shì yuán běn jiù shì yī gè wèi yù

让人联想到是不是原本就是一个卫浴

Reminiscent of whether it was originally a bathroom

ér fáng dōng jiāng tā yìng gǎi chéng liǎng jiān

而房东将它硬改成两间

And the landlord changed it to two

suǒ yǐ dǎo zhì liǎng jiān de kōng jiān dōu biàn dé chāo jí xiǎo

所以导致两间的空间都变得超级小

So the space between the two rooms has become super small

The bathroom in the master bedroom

几乎只剩下马桶跟洗手台的空间

There is almost only room for toilet and sink

zhǔ wò fáng mén dǎ kāi huì zhí jiē xiāng chōng dào yī jiān cì wò

主卧房门打开会直接相冲到一间次卧

When the door of the master bedroom opens, it will directly rush to a second bedroom

yě xǔ shì wèi le dǎng shā ba

也许是为了挡煞吧

Maybe it's to stop the evil

房东做了一面弧形轻隔间墙

The landlord made a curved light partition wall

méi yǒu rèn hé zuò yòng yòu shí fēn chī kōng jiān

没有任何作用又十分吃空间

It has no effect and eats space

cóng qīng gé jiān qiáng dào zhǔ wò mén kǒu de zhè gè kōng jiān

从轻隔间墙到主卧门口的这个空间

This space from the light partition wall to the door of the master bedroom

tā yòu zuò le yī gè hěn xiàng yī chú xì tǒng guì

他又做了一个很像衣橱系统柜

He made another cabinet that looks like a wardrobe system

chú fáng wèi yī zì xíng zǒu dào shì gé jú

厨房为一字形走道式格局

The kitchen is a straight walkway pattern

yuán běn kōng jiān jiù bù dà

原本空间就不大

Originally not much space

fáng dōng què zài lǐ miàn zuò le yī gè hěn shēn yòu gāo de xì tǒng guì

房东却在里面做了一个很深又高的系统柜

The landlord made a deep and high system cabinet inside

乍看之下很方便

Very convenient at first glance

但实际使用起来只会觉得

But in actual use, I just feel

bù zhǐ ràng chú fáng kōng jiān biàn xiǎo

不只让厨房空间变小

Not only make the kitchen space smaller

ér qiě hái yīn wèi zuò tài gāo le

而且还因为做太高了

And also because it’s too high

大部分的柜子都用不到

Most cabinets are not used

房东另外还附了一个非常大的家用冰箱

The landlord also attached a very large household refrigerator

因为太大了只能放在客厅

Because it's too big, it can only be placed in the living room

搬进去之后

After moving in

wǒ men jiāng tā yí dào lìng yī gè wèi zhì

We move it to another location

虽然会挡到另一间小房间的出入口

做了一堆不实用又占空间的柜子跟轻隔间后

After making a bunch of cabinets and light compartments that are not practical and take up space

格局跟动线都变得很怪

The pattern following lines have become weird

但看房子的时候

But when looking at the house

bù zhī dào wèi shén me

不知道为什么

do not know why

我却执意想租下这间房子

I insist on renting this house

míng míng zū jīn jià gé jiù chāo guò yù suàn

明明租金价格就超过预算

Obviously the rental price exceeds the budget

nán yǒu kàn guò yě jiào wǒ zài xiǎng xiǎng

男友看过也叫我再想想

My boyfriend told me to think again

我却坚持签约

I insist on signing

因为前房客搬走的时候

被我拿来当作猫房

I used it as a cat house

因为想让猫咪习惯

Because I want the cat to get used to it

Sleep in their room

一开始都会跟它们在猫房玩耍

Will play with them in the cat room at first

I always feel someone staring at me through the door on the back balcony

一开始觉得自己想多了

At first I thought I was thinking too much

后来感觉越来越强烈

Then I felt stronger and stronger

我只能在厨房尽快备料

I can only prepare as soon as possible in the kitchen

然后端出来在客厅弄

And put it out in the living room
