I adopted them over the past decade

It was “cardboard snowball”

And now it’s “thick cut toast”

They are free

完全没有被链住

No chains

No cages

我搬进来大概三年

I moved here three years ago

一进来这里就是池塘

The pond is the first thing you see coming through that gate

yī lóu qí shí jiù shì yī gè kāi fàng shì de gǎn jué

一楼其实就是一个开放式的感觉

The ground floor is an open space

进来肯定第一个视觉都会是红色

And red is the prominent color in here

Including the piano, it’s customized

And it has my name on it

And I find that people seldom sit on a couch

So I don’t have a living room on the ground floor

And in the back is the kitchen

The cooking area is separated

再后面就是花园

Further back is a garden

There is not much luxurious decoration in my house

I might have had over one thousand pairs of shoes

我接触音乐应该是在国中的时候

My earliest contact with music dates back to my middle school years

wǒ dì yī gè yǒu yù wàng xiǎng xué de lè qì jiù shì jué shì gǔ

我第一个有欲望想学的乐器就是爵士鼓

The very first instrument I ever wanted to learn is jazz drum

zhǐ shì yīn wèi xiǎo shí hòu jiā lǐ huán jìng zhēn de hěn bù hǎo

只是因为小时候家里环境真的很不好

But we couldn’t really afford it

hòu lái xué le liǎng gè yuè jiù méi xué le

后来学了两个月就没学了

So I dropped that after about two months

我以前小时候也很叛逆，然后被辅导

I was a rebellious kid

But I always know that I love music

Later I sang at a restaurant

And I took part in One Million Star at 19

And released my first album when I was 20

真的也就短短几年的时间

Things changed in just a few years

I had a dream

And the walls were broken

不会有小偷，因为没有东西偷

And no thief would visit our house cause there was nothing to steal

可能是很希望拥有一个我想要的房子

So maybe I really wanted to have a dream house to myself

wǒ gǎn shòu dé dào dà jiā de xiàn mù

我感受得到大家的羡慕

I can feel people’s admiration

kào zì jǐ de néng lì

靠自己的能力

I am able to buy stuff I want

mǎi wǒ zì jǐ xiǎng yào mǎi de dōng xī

买我自己想要买的东西

By myself

你知道自己辛苦的点在哪里

I know what I have to do to get here
