它离我的母校比较近

Close to my school

大约有400平方，一共分为4层

It’s a four-storey building, and the floorage is about 400 square meters

jīng guò le chà bù duō dà dà xiǎo xiǎo cì de xiū zhěng huā le wàn zuǒ yòu

经过了差不多大大小小5次的修整，花了30万左右

The house underwent 5 transformations, costing 300 thousand yuan

我把这个空间作为居家、会客和工作的场所

It hosts a combination of functions, including living, meeting people and working

You can see through the whole house passing the first floor

中庭它原本是三面墙封死的

The atrium was enclosed on three directions by walls

qiāo diào le sān miàn qiáng zuò le yī gè yáng guāng dǐng

敲掉了三面墙，做了一个阳光顶

I tore down the three walls and installed a sunlight roof

bǎ hù wài de guāng xiàn dǎo rù dào dāng zhōng

把户外的光线导入到当中

Light comes through the roof and showers down on the indoor space

zài èr lóu yǒu zú gòu de cǎi guāng hé tōng fēng

在二楼有足够的采光和通风

Granting sufficient light and ventilation to the second floor

suǒ yǐ māo hé gǒu dōu tè bié xǐ huān zài zhè gè fáng jiān lǐ miàn yī qǐ shài tài yáng

所以猫和狗都特别喜欢在这个房间里面一起晒太阳

Cats and dog like sunbathing in the room

三楼是自己居住的空间

The third floor is where I live

分为南北两个区域

It is separated into two areas

北侧层高将近6米

The floor height of the northern area is almost 6 meters

搭建了一个小阁楼，作为我个人的卧室

I have a little attic as my bedroom

nán miàn zhè gè kōng jiān shè zhì le yī gè bǐ jiào xiǎo de xiū xī shì

南面这个空间设置了一个比较小的休息室

The southern area is a small guestroom

péng yǒu lái fǎng kě yǐ zàn shí duǎn zhù

朋友来访可以暂时短住

For my friends to crash in

一楼这个中庭，是我在这个房子最喜欢的一个空间

The atrium on the second floor is my favorite spot in the house

按照植物习性去布置它们生长的环境

I arranged the plants according to their living habits

There is a flume in which I keep fishes and turtles

I can hear the sound of rain when it’s raining

雨水通过泥土再渗透到水中，形成一个独特的小世界

Filtered through soil, rain comes back into water, forming a unique little world

在房子的尽头有一个非常大的落地窗

The big French window is at the end of the house

它能看到向南的另一个大院子

Looking out of the window you can see the other garden facing the south

在这个院子当中，我种了很多植物

I grow many plants in the garden

大约有40种、50种

About 40, 50 different kinds of plants

我种了非常多尤加利，有些松树，一些柠檬

Eucalyptus accounts for a big proportion of my plants, and there are pines and lemon trees

There are aromatic plants in my garden as well

Such as rosemary and thyme in the lemongrass family

我种了一些会攀墙的植物

And I have planted climbing plants

zhè shì biàn tài zǐ téng tā de kāi huā zhōu qī shì zài yuè zuǒ yòu

这是变态紫藤，它的开花周期是在6月左右

This is wisteria, which blooms in June

dà duō shù de māo dōu huì zài sān lóu jū zhù

大多数的猫都会在三楼居住

Most cats live on the third floor

rán hòu sān lóu huì yǒu yī gè fēi cháng dà de māo pá jià

然后三楼会有一个非常大的猫爬架

And there is a gigantic cat climber

tā men de míng zì zuì chū de shí hòu wǒ huì xuǎn zé

它们的名字，最初的时候我会选择

At first, when I gave them names

fú qì fú lái fú róng zhè zhǒng bǐ jiào xǐ qì de míng zì

福气，福来，福荣，这种比较喜气的名字

I had a preference for jubilant names like “Fuqi”, “Fulai”, “Furong”

màn màn yán shēn dào le shí wù

慢慢延伸到了食物

Later I started to give them food names

mǐ mǐ de yán sè wǒ xuǎn zé jiào ròu sōng

米米的颜色，我选择叫肉松

I call the beige one “Rousong”, which means dried meat floss

bái zhōng dài hēi de wǒ jiào tāng yuán má shǔ

白中带黑的，我叫汤圆，麻糬

The black and white ones are “Tangyuan (sweet dumpling)” and “Mashu (sticky rice cake with stuffing)”

我现在所养的这只狗其实小时候是一只被遗弃的狗

My dog was a stray dog

它当时是患了比较重的绝症

It was suffering from terminal disease

花了三个月的时间尝试送去医院进行一些治疗

I spent three months trying to cure it

每天我会花大概半个小时进行铲屎

Cleaning cat poop costs me half an hour a day

zhǐ māo de chǎn shǐ liàng hái shì mán kǒng bù de

25只猫的（铲）屎量还是蛮恐怖的

Try to imagine 25 cats’ poop

房子里面会布置非常多的净化器

I put in many purifiers in the house

néng gēn zhì māo máo zài kōng qì dāng zhōng piāo fú

能根治猫毛在空气当中（漂浮）

They take care of floating cat hairs

dì shàng de nà xiē máo fā wǒ huì xuǎn zé yī xiē sǎo dì jī qì rén

地上的那些毛发我会选择一些扫地机器人

And floor mopping robots work 24/7

xiǎo shí gōng zuò de zhuàng tài

24小时工作的状态

To keep cat hairs on the floor under control

也是因为我从小的经历

Because of my childhood experience

我可能迫切地需要通过一些方式进行自我疗愈

I desperately need self-healing

我会在鲜花快凋零的时候，把它制成干燥花

I make flowers into potpourri when they are about to wither away

我平时在工作室做一些调香和测试

I develop new scents and run tests in my studio

虽然说这是一个租来的房子

This is a rented house

但是我对于家的稳定性特别看重

I care about stability though

养了这些动物，我更离不开这个家了

With all my pets, I can’t leave this house
