生鐵
含碳量大于2%的铸造铁基合金。还含硅及少量锰、磷、硫等元素。常见的有白口铸铁、灰口铸铁、球墨铸铁等。熔点低、流动性好、熔炼简单、成本低、耐磨，但塑性和韧性差，强度低。一般用来铸造各种铸件。
