MEANING OF 一鳞半爪
lit. one scale and half a claw (idiom); only odd bits and pieces
Originally, it meant that the dragon was in the cloud, with a scale on the east and half of its claws on the west, without seeing its full picture / It is a metaphor for fragmentary things
