Geju (Tibetan: transmit word of Buddha) sect of Tibetan Buddhist
喇嘛教派之一。"噶举"，藏语意为"口授传承"，谓其传承金刚持佛亲口所授密咒教义，故名。又因该派喇嘛穿白色裙子和上衣，故俗称"白教"。十一世纪时，由西藏僧人玛尔巴创立。一传弥拉惹巴，再传达波拉结。该派以苦修为特色，曾融合噶当派教义，成为有势力的教派。支系众多，其中帕竹噶举﹑噶玛噶举的上层曾受元明两朝册封，相继执掌西藏地方政权。格鲁派得势后，噶举派中仅止贡﹑噶玛﹑达垅﹑主巴四支系尚保持一定宗教势力。主要寺院有墨竹工卡的止贡寺﹑四川德格的八邦寺等。
