每年一度的什一奉献，是要感谢神所赐的恩惠，以及帮助那些有需要的人，就是外地来的人、孤儿寡妇和利未人。

The yearly tithe acknowledged this gift and the responsibility of helping people who could not give: non-citizens, the fatherless, widows, and the Levites.
