宣战 (宣戰)
to declare war
①一国向敌对国家宣布进入战争状态的声明。根据1907年《海牙公约》规定,宣战必须在开战前宣告,可以表明宣战的理由。是否宣战并不能决定战争的性质,侵略战争即使经过宣战,也是非正义的。②泛指开展激烈斗争向大自然宣战。
