三綱五常
(三纲五常)
three principles and five virtues (idiom) / the three rules (ruler guides subject, father guides son and husband guides wife) and five constant virtues of Confucianism (benevolence 仁, righteousness 義|义, propriety 禮|礼, wisdom 智 and fidelity 信)
三纲 Refers to the ruler as the minister, the father as the son, and the husband as the wife / 五常 Refers to benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, faith / The ethics among people advocated by feudal ethics
三纲指君为臣纲，父为子纲，夫为妻纲；五常指仁、义、礼、智、信。封建礼教提倡的人与人之间的道德规范。
